Policies and Procedures

The Youth Offending Services has policies and procedures to make sure systems are in place and all managers and staff members know about them.

Service users also need to know about their rights for example concerning:

•  confidentiality
•  data protection
•  how to make a complaint or comment about our services. 

Other people also have an interest in what we do and will want to know how to make, for example, a Freedom of Information request.

The Youth Offending services is a multi-agency organisation reporting to a Youth Offending Services Management Board.

We mirror the policies used by Stoke-on-Trent City Council. A senior manager links into named contacts within the council and attends, as appropriate, policy meetings.
